What is your calling? Each of us has different callings, to be sure. But there is a foundation to each of them. No matter if we are the baker, the brick-layer, or the candlestick maker, we have an underlying calling. No matter if we are son or daughter, father or mother, sister or brother, we have an underlying calling. Advent is about Jesus coming to us! First He arrived on that very first Christmas. Now He is coming again…but what is our PURPOSE until He comes again? Pastor Dar leads us in a special look at Jesus’ answer to this question which He gave to us as a mission…or rather a CO-MISSION!

What WOWs us? More importantly, what about the WOW in Jesus…for us?

Because of God’s mercies, we are free to join Him in what He is already doing! But the world does not let go of us easily, and seeks for us to conform to its pattern rather than being transformed by Jesus! This is why we must always seek the face of Jesus found in His Word, by His Spirit, and in His love!

Our Mission Festival continues with our focus on us as Ambassadors! “Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us,” 2 Corinthians 5:20. We exist as ambassadors through the love of Jesus, which manifests itself as encouragement! We point people to Jesus, we teach people about Jesus, and we implore others: “Be Reconciled to God!” You are invited to learn with us!
