No “churchianity”
“Churchianity” is a term coined by Michael Spencer (author of Mere Churchianity) which describes a thinking related to elevating church culture above actually following the Risen Jesus. Symptoms of churchianity include (1) Quoting the Bible more than Reading the Bible (2) Focusing more on ideas and principles than PEOPLE who are made in the image of God (3) expecting other people’s behavior to conform to ours.
Contrast with: (1) Discover His Story! Hint: it’s much bigger than just the fact that He died and rose again! (2) Spend time with Him (3) Imitate Him! It is about conforming our HEARTS to His!

Discover The Story
Hebrews 5.10-11 || We are setting out to discover the full story of Jesus. Sometimes it is hard to learn (EG: What’s the big deal with this “Melchizedek” fellow?)! The only way we can do this is if we cry out to Him and seek Him with all of our hearts!
