1 Corinthians 2:1a...2 | Jesus + Anything = NOTHING. But Jesus + Nothing = EVERYTHING!! This is the Good News, this is the Gospel!! Our focus must always be on Jesus, specifically Him CRUCIFIED. This means telling the story of Him on the cross, Him walking out of the tomb, and Him pouring out His Spirit on all people! 1 Corinthians 2:4-5 | When God is working, we must always remember: whatever is accomplished through us will never be because of us, but because of God’s Power which flows through His Spirit, by HIS WORD! Don’t put your trust in a preacher or teacher or leader, put your trust in JESUS. See Romans 7:4-6 and 10:14-17 and Ephesians 3:4-12.
1 Corinthians 2:12-13 | The Holy Spirit gives us understanding, He gives us the ability to see the gifts freely given to us: He gives us the POWER of the Gospel! See John 16:5-15 and Romans 1:16-17.
1 Corinthians 3:5-6 | God builds the powerhouse through His servants, through whom we are given faith: some plant, others water, GOD MAKES IT GROW! See Luke 8:4-15.
1 Corinthians 3:8-9 | The Builders are God’s fellow workers! And what are we all building? HIS NEW PEOPLE. See Ephesians 2:14-22.
1 Corinthians 3:16 | The Holy Spirit lives in you! You are His temple! This means wherever you go, you carry His presence, His light, His glory, and HIS POWER. See Romans 15:13
