Genesis 1:26-27 | The Origin Story of humanity is clear: we are ALL made in God’s image. We are His children! And He made us to rule His creation!

Psalm 139:13-14 | But He didn’t just make all of humanity in general, He made EACH one of us in particular…with His bare hands! He KNIT each of us together fearfully (which means HONORED) and wonderfully (which means ONE-OF-A-KIND).

Luke 6:37-38 | What measurements are we to use when we deal with others? Humans always measure one another with behavior. God uses IDENTITY. Therefore, the questions of WHO ARE YOU and WHO ARE THEY are the baseline of how we should SEE others!

Luke 6:41-42 | Jesus teaches with our Origin Story in mind as He pivots us from how we LOOK to how we SEE, curing us of “PLANK-EYE” by directing our attention away from WHAT (measuring by behavior) to WHO (seeing them as our brothers and sisters)! We are ALL made in God’s image and EACH of us is uniquely beautiful!

2 Corinthians 5:16,18 | Since we are ALL made in God’s image and we are EACH uniquely beautiful, then we are engaged in the ministry of RECONCILIATION. Because that is exactly what God did for us!

2 Corinthians 5:21 | The power to SEE others is to do so THROUGH Jesus: He who had NO sin BECAME sin for us SO THAT in Him we might become the Righteousness of God!
