PSALM 91:1 | Trust the promise: YOU ARE UNDER HIS PROTECTION. This happens when we dwell in His shelter! HE is the shelter. HE is the Most High! He is “Shaddai” which means the ALMIGHTY. There is no power above Him!
PSALM 91:2 | What is a “god”? It is who or what you put your trust in. Many of the sources of our trouble, which lead to anxiety, are borne out of putting our trust in someone or something other than the TRUE God.
PSALM 91:3-4 | So trust in HIM, go ALL-IN with HIM, because you cannot save yourself. HE WILL SAVE YOU. HE WILL PROTECT YOU!
PSALM 91:5-7 | When you are resting inside HIS wings: You. Will. Not. Fear. Startled? Sure. Rattled? From time to time. But return to HIM! Don’t use YOUR UNDERSTANDING, but rely upon HIS PEACE. Don’t define your reality by what you see all around you, but believe HIS promises and put your TRUST in HIM!
PSALM 91:9-10 | THIS is how you look at the world! This means He is with you no matter what things may look like or feel like! HE IS YOUR REFUGE. Always hold this together with John 16:33, Romans 5:1-11, 8:12-31, and 2 Timothy 3.
PSALM 91:11-12 | This is the passage the devil (MIS!)quoted to Jesus. “In all your ways,” refers to trusting the promises and seeking to follow the LORD! God’s promises are not incantations, they are not formulas, they are not magic tricks. THEY ARE THE POWER OF THE MOST HIGH AND HE LOVES YOU!
MATTHEW 4:4 | When you are struggling with fear, gripped in horror, or drowning in anxiety, DRAW THE SWORD! Say to the devil and his servants of darkness, IT IS WRITTEN: God so loved the world...There is therefore now no condemnation...He who knew no sin...THE MOST HIGH IS MY REFUGE...
