In Risk

Ruth 3:1 | Many Christians use language like: “I’m waiting for God to open a door.” This is not the Biblical way to live. Instead, we should GO! “Waiting on the Lord” is not about being stationary, it is about trusting Him to be with you along the path! And HE WILL BE! See Isaiah 40:28-31 and PRAY Psalm 27!

Ruth 3:11 | We all struggle with fear. When you feel afraid, LISTEN TO GOD! His promises are the POWER (see Romans 1:16!) to vanquish all fear...all because of His Never Stopping, Never Giving Up, Unbreaking, Always and Forever Love! See Mark 5:36, 1 Peter 5:7, Galatians 2:20, Isaiah 53:4, Romans 5:1, and 1 John 4:18!

Ruth 3:12-13 | Always remember: God doesn't do things TO you, He does things THROUGH you. We see this play out in the story of Ruth, even though Naomi FELT like God had afflicted her (See Ruth 1:20-21), even then He was working THROUGH Naomi to bless Ruth, to bless all of us by what would happen as events unfolded to bring salvation to the entire universe...THROUGH JESUS, THE MESSIAH! See Romans 8:28-31, 8:37-38, 9:6-16 (write Romans 9:16 on your heart!!) and 9:17-29 and 10:8-17!

Acts 17:25 | He doesn't NEED us, He WANTS us! Be free of the feeling that, "the other shoe is going to drop". Instead, remember that He gives EVERYONE EVERYTHING. So we are FREE to Join Him in what HE is already doing! See John 3:16-17, 1 Timothy 2:4, 2 Peter 3:9, Ezekiel 18:23 and Matthew 23:37.

Acts 17:26 | When we are faced with life decisions, remember that it was God who took the risk! He created us in His image, knowing that we could (would!) reject Him! But He loves us so much that He was willing to risk everything that it would eventually cost Him! The entire story of our lives reflects this love and this plan. He determines the times and places we should live, arranging the universe around us so that...

Acts 17:27 | So that we would reach out, that we would feel for Him, though He is closer to us than we could possibly imagine. So that we would know of His love for us. So that we would know that we were never alone. So that we would know that He arranges the entire universe around us in order that we might receive His promises, His gifts, His love...and eventually join Him in what He is already doing!
