The Season of Advent is about waiting on Jesus to arrive! We wait for Christmas, yes, but we truly wait for Him to COME AGAIN! But how? How do we wait? What do we do and how do we do it? This is where we pick up the story in Exodus 14 where the Lord invites us to SEE His salvation! To learn to not SEE him in our immediate circumstances but rather to SEE Him in His Promises and to trust that He will indeed do what He says He will do! When we read about “THE ANGEL OF THE LORD” in the Old Testament, we need to know: Just who IS this guy? Spoiler Alert: JESUS! But wait, what does this mean for us and why is it important?
