Mission Briefing

Luke 11:14 — In our culture belief in demons is ridiculed. For Jesus, these were the enemy who opposed Him at every turn.
Luke 11:20 — The Kingdom of God is present whenever the King is present. (Also check out Luke 17:20-21)

Luke 11:21 — “Strong man” = the devil
Luke 11:22 — “Someone Stronger” = Jesus

Colossians 2:13 — Not bad people made good. Dead people made ALIVE.
Colossians 2:14 — No accusations can be made against us!
Colossians 2:15 — The “powers” and “authorities” have been disarmed.

Luke 11:28 — Do we hear what Jesus is saying? The Greek word “phylasso” means to guard/follow/cherish. See how it is used similarly in 1 Timothy 6:20 and 2 Timothy 1:14.
We hear the Word of God and we follow Jesus! This advances the Kingdom of God!!
