FIRETALKERS
Acts 2:16-21 || God promised through His prophet Joel that there would come a day when He would pour out His Spirit on ALL His people. Peter declares this promise was fulfilled on the day of Pentecost! THEY WILL PROPHESY.
Remember! “To prophesy” does not only mean to “foretell” (accurately predict) the future but also (and more often) means to “forthtell” the truth: what was true in the past, is now true in the present AND will continue to be true in the future. All of this is through the power of God’s Word by His Spirit!

FIREPOWER
Galatians 5:1, 13, 22-23, 25 || We have been set free. We are not under the law. How then shall we use our freedom? There are two ditches available on each side of the road of freedom. On the right side is the life of the “thou shalts” and the “thou shalt nots” (which comes in many names: legalism, being a Pharisee, religiosity). On the left side is “I like to sin, God likes to forgive, this is going to work out great” (sometimes called cheap grace, license to sin, or antinomianism).
In the middle? FREEDOM. Marching in step with the Spirit. Trusting Him. Letting go and asking Him to lead you, to drive you, to compel you. He will then produce in you, His fruit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. He is the Fire, who gives us the Power, to Join Jesus on His Mission of bringing Love and Hope to all people! This is the firepower to make a difference in the things that matter most!
