FAITH = FAMILY
Romans 4:13, 16 || Law = What God has instructed and commanded us to do! Our inheritance does not come through what we do (or fail to do!) but rather it comes through FAITH in what GOD DOES! We put our trust in Jesus, the One who did not fail to fulfill the law but rather DID all the things we could never do. It is God’s Promises that determine who we are, by HIS GRACE which comes to us through Jesus.

STORY OF HOPE
Romans 4:18, 21-22 || “Against all hope” means that none of this looks possible! And yet, this is precisely when we are called to believe! This is how God works, never coercing us, always inviting us to put our trust Him.

OUR STORY
Romans 4:22-23, 25 || God’s word is brought to us through His people! Those stories were written for them and ALSO for us! And just as they received the gift of God’s Grace through faith in His promises, so shall we. It was through Jesus death that all our debts were paid and all our guilt was taken from us. It is through His resurrection that we are rendered PERFECT in the eyes of the Father! This is what the word “justification” means: that everything Jesus is and has was given to us (His perfection!) and everything that was us (imperfection) was put upon Him! This is because of His great love for us…for YOU!
