Let's Get Ready: ADVENT

During December at Praise & Worship, we are celebrating ADVENT. This special season of waiting and expecting is all based upon the HOPE that Jesus has given to us!

Advent means “arrival” or “coming” and that is exactly what we are focusing on: Jesus is coming again! Here’s how we will celebrate:

  • Sunday, December 2 at 10 am: The Gospel of the Kingdom! Many people wonder, what will bring about the end of the world? Jesus gives us a clear and concise answer in Matthew 24:1-14! #PeaceSunday

  • Wednesday, December 5 at 6:30 pm: The LORD Saves! When Jesus came the first time, He had a very specific mission that unfolded in a very specific way. We will see the details in Matthew 1!

  • Sunday, December 9 at 10 am: The Coming of the Son of Man! What does it mean when Jesus calls Himself “The Son of Man” and what does that have to do with His return? We will learn this in our study of Matthew 24:10-31 (and we might peak into Daniel 7 too!). #HopeSunday

  • Wednesday, December 12 at 6:30 pm: The King of Kings! What happens with the True King arrives? Some kings take it well, other kings…don’t. We will learn the story of Matthew 2 together!

  • Sunday, December 16 at 10 am: The Day and The Hour! We all wanna know! When will it happen?!? Jesus teaches us how to get ready in Matthew 24:32-44. #JoySunday

  • Wednesday, December 19 at 6:30 pm: The Kingdom Arrives! Did you know there is one Old Testament prophet that is introduced in the New Testament? Journey with us into the powerful announcement he brought in Matthew 3!

  • Sunday, December 23 at 10 am: While We Wait! What should we be up to while we look forward to the return of Jesus? This is what Jesus teaches us in Matthew 25:14-30. #LoveSunday

  • Monday, December 24 at 6:30 pm: This is Christmas at Praise & Worship! Join us for our special Candlelight Service on Christmas Eve! Candles, Carols and The Child!! “He is Christ, the Lord!” Luke 2:11!

Take note: Sunday mornings will feature a special mini study of Revelation each week at 9 am as we conclude the Read Scripture Series!

Also: All evening services will be at 6:30 pm!
