Everyone’s Questions
Do I need to “go to church” to be saved? We ARE the church! Can’t I just worship God anywhere? Worship = our whole lives! Isn’t the church filled with hypocrites? Hypocrisy is not when “bad people” attend a worship service, it is when “good people” sneer at “bad people”! WE ALL NEED JESUS!

What IS the Church?
Ephesians 1:22-23, 2:8-9 || The Church is the assembly of all believers in Jesus, anywhere and everywhere. “Where two or three are gathered…” We gather around God’s Promises, brought to us through Jesus, by the Holy Spirit! He creates our Faith!

What is Worship?
Romans 12:1 || The Worship “Service” is NOT our service to God, but rather His service to us! His mercy and grace our poured out upon us like a waterfall, where we are washed clean, we are rooted in His promises once again, we taste and see that the Lord is good! THEN we can respond and live our whole lives, “in view of God’s mercy…” offering ourselves to our neighbors as living sacrifices!

What does the Church do?
Ephesians 6:12, 3:10-12, 5:25-27 || Our enemy is not one another, but rather the “powers of this dark world”, which God has chosen to confront THROUGH THE CHURCH! Jesus saved us and set us free so that we can participate in His mission! We then love just as He loved! We start at home, we continue at work and school and play and everywhere!
